As the new year approaches, it’s time to set the stage for my 2025 journals! For me, journaling is more than just tracking to-dos or reading lists; it's about creating a space to capture moments, memories, and goals across the year. This year, I’ve decided to blend a mix of pre-designed pages and personal touches for a unique setup.
My reading journal is still in the works, as I’m taking extra care to design pages that inspire me to read even more in 2025. In contrast, my bullet journal is almost complete since I purchased a set of beautiful pages to simplify the process. I’d initially hoped to share a video along with this post, but with my reading journal pages still in progress, I’ve decided to delay filming. When it’s ready, I’ll be thrilled to share a full video walk-through so you can see each page up close and maybe even find some inspiration for your own journals!
In this post, I'll be sharing an overview of the pages I’m using in my bullet journal, along with a breakdown of the pages I’ve planned for my reading journal. Whether you’re looking to start a new reading log, try out a bullet journal, or just get ideas, I hope this post gives you a spark of creativity for your 2025 planning.
Building My 2025 Bullet Journal: Essential Pages
My bullet journal won’t include any weekly pages, as I have a separate planner for that, but it will feature monthly spreads and yearly trackers. My bullet journal is also book-themed, which I’m really excited about! The monthly title pages, calendar spreads, mood trackers, and "doodle of the day" sections are all designed with a literary touch. These pages were all purchased off of Etsy.

Curating My 2025 Reading Journal: Pages for Every Book Lover
These pages are curated specifically for me, as I’m designing them myself. They may not be what everyone is looking for, but they’re exactly what I wanted.

There isn’t much else to cover in this blog post, but I’m hoping to have the video ready in the next few weeks and share it soon. I have a separate journal where I document my reads, including details such as the title, author, genre, and notes. This journal is kept in a separate binder. I’ll share what a page from that journal looks like as well.
